One of the most anticipated events of the year, is fast approaching, The Pittsburgh Film Office "Lights, Glamour, Action!" will take place on Oscar night, Sunday, March 4th, at the David L. Lawrence Convention center.
Sporting the longest red carpet, (actually 2 feet long than the red carpet at the Academy Award), the regal entrance is just the start. Area designers participated in an evening gown design contest, with the finished product on display for the event's guests to judge. Each designer incorporated the logo "Rated PGH" in their designer. A panel of fashion industry insiders including Lana Neumeyer, Suzanne Mauro, Michelle Reid, and myself, will also participate in the judging of the gown competition.
Without giving too much away, I would love to share a few pictures of the preliminary viewing, we were privilege to preview!
Check back on Monday, March 5th, for the full story!
