June 6, 2021, was a picture-perfect day for the PNC Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Picnic in Your Park.
This year, more than ever, it was crucial to support our Pittsburgh Parks through the Parks Conservancy.
The reimagined event, which was a success in 2020, was even more so this year, with guests choosing to pick up their picnic baskets at Schenley Park, or stay and picnic.
Brightly colored tents were available, and Blanket and Board provided a VIP picnic experience. Beautiful blooms from Hen’s and Chicks were featured in a flower cart and were available with a donation to The Parks Conservancy. Colorful balloons, a candy cart, and entertainment also added to the ambiance.
From giant portrait hats to sleek fedoras, the hats and the fashions were back. The event raised over $475,000 for the Parks Conservancy.
