The annual Pittsburgh Opera Fashion Show, "Roses and Thorns " was held on Monday, March 9th at the Pittsburgh Opera House. Guests enjoyed delectable hor d 'oeuvres from Hungry for Time, while shopping the Studio Booth display and admiring rose inspired fashions.
Partnering with designer Lela Rose and Choices of Pittsburgh, direct from the New York runway fashions were nothing less than phenomenal. Delicate florals, lace, and wearable styles delighted the audience.
Inspired by the legendary opera Carmen, which opens March 28th at the Benedum Center, “Roses & Thorns” combined the best in couture with performances by the Opera Resident artist ranging from "La Vie En Rose" to an unexpected, upbeat, "We've Got the Beat" by the GoGos.
All proceed from the event go directly to benefit the Pittsburgh Opera. To donate visit: The Pittsburgh Opera
