Highmark presents, NETFLIX "Lights! Glamour! Action!

It was an evening of entertainment, elegance, and achievement, as the Pittsburgh Film Office celebrated the astounding accomplishment of raising over 1.5 billion dollars, to date, for the Pittsburgh Film Industry.

Guests arrived in style, walking the red carpet through the Pennsylvanian's Rotunda, to enter the lavish ballroom,  lined with culinary delights from Eddie V's, Aurochs Brewing Company, Blume Honey Water, Braddock's Rebellion, Molinaro Ristorante and Bar, Monterey Bay Fish Grotto, Parkhurst Dining, Pittsburgh Smokehouse, Parrot Bay Cafe, Pittsburgh PO' Boy, Sausalido Bistro, the Capital Grilll, Allegheny Coffee & Tea Exchange, and A519 Chocolates.

The audience  quickly took to the dance floor after an upbeat music mix by Eventures DJ as models walked the ballroom with Oscar ballot predictions for the chance to win $25,000.

Dawn Keezer, Pittsburgh Film Office Director, addressed the crowd and spoke of the film office's ongoing relationship with the film industry, with the return of "Mindhunter's" second season, CBS show "One Dollar", and Sony's "Pickle" in 2018, anticipating an even stronger 2019!

Production Curator, Richard Parsakian, treated the audience to  The Pittsburgh Connection, A Dance Tribute to Film, featuring dancers reenacting role from "Flashdance", "Singin in the Rain", "Wonder Boys", "Perks of Being a Wallflower", and "Black Panther", all with Pittsburgh connections.  Mr. Parsakian, also enlisted the help of Brian David, a local couture designer, who presented his elegant, hand made, couture gowns, with all the glamour of Old Hollywood.
