Over 600 guests arrived in style to the 2020 Roaring 20's Great Heart Gala, Saturday, February 29, at the Wyndham Grand Hotel Ballroom, celebrating 100 years of the American Heart Association.
The evening began with a VIP cocktail reception, followed by dinner and both live and silent auctions.
Guests browsed the silent auction items, and had photos taken by Eventures Live Photography, while admiring the gowns, many of which were in the roaring 20s style.
Honorees for the evening included William Neches, MD. receiving the Peter J. Safar Pulse on Pittsburgh Award, and Beth Ann Condit, BSN, RN, CCRN, who was honored with the Mary Ann Scully Excellence in Nursing Award.
This event is largely responsible for funding many of the American Heart Association's projects with seventy five percent of contributions supporting research, school-site programs, and public education programs in the region.
